I love scouting. I was a gs myself for many years. Perhaps one day they will come around to the 21st century. And yes, you do have a handsome bunch of boys there.

Congrats to the second son! My husband is an Eagle Scout. I know he's always felt his scouting experience was really valuable. I'm with you on the politics but I'm tempted to let my son participate when he's old enough.

Cute boys.

I think that's just absolutely smashing.
Turns out Nate was a crazy boy scout type til he was like 15 or something. Too bad he took such a turn for a worse. Love a man in a uniform.

Congratulation to the entire family and especially to the new Eagle Scout. That is quite an accomplishment!

All those boys look alike - so handsome! Two down and one to go!

Yes, those pesky politics!
My boys quit before making Eagle, but they did get a lot out of it. My oldest son went to Philmont and the trip was a highlight of his life.
Congrats to your Eagle Scouts!

One of my carpool boys just got Life Scout and is moving toward Eagle. What a great accomplishment!

That is one huge accomplishment. You must so proud you're fit to burst. Boy Scouts were berry berry good to us, too. Unfortunately we hit the something's-gotta-give point a couple of years ago when it was either scouts or football. Mine picked football. But for almost 12 years and countless camping trips in the rain we were big time scouters. Nothing but good experiences.

Congratulations. Nothing wrong with having big doses of B.S. in the family, as long as it's Scouts!

Congratulations to YOU and your son, because, honestly, if it wasn't for the mom, there wouldn't be as many Eagle scouts. I know there are plenty of Scout leaders to pat on the back, but I think the mom comes first. CONGRATS!
