Sunday "To Do " List

1) Get up early to spur the middle and youngest sons into their commitment to do eight hours of volunteer work for a local charity...in exchange for said hours counting on a scout merit badge.

2) Help oldest (home for the weekend) pack to go back to school.

3) Wrap gifts for hubby's birthday (Monday!!).

4) Make Chocolate Sheath Cake for same birthday.

5) Long walk.

6) Lose two games of Scrabulous. Win another.

7) Watching two episodes of "Trading Spaces" (new!) and two of "Jon & Kate Plus Eight". Oh, TLC (The Learning  Channel)....how do I love thee?

8) Made a set of wine glass marker using glass beads and laminated Mexican Bingo cards. Consider selling them in sets.

did you really do all that in one day?? Even a long walk? I'm jealous of your learning channel. we don't have cable. that's why I want it.

And this weekend? Called into work yesterday since the baby was sick and I couldn't move my shoulder. And today I took the girl to the ER for a dislocated thumb. It was lovely and I'm hoping tomorrow gets back to normal chaos as opposed to extraordinary chaos.

I didn't do nearly as much. Except make chili. That about covers it.

Hey, I made your list! :)

1) Went on a date with my wife
2) Paid someone to shave my wooly dog
3) Took photos of the Saturday hail and made the 5 o'clock news with them
4) Slept
5) Got gold five stars on five Guitar Hero III songs
6) Fixed some buggy custom code on my blog
7) Actually posted something on said blog
8) Watched three movies

Is a sheath cake like a condom cake?? Just kidding!

Let's see - I worked in the yard, had dinner with friends, did 4 loads of laundry (only put away 2 though!) and made lasagna for dinner last night. Love the wine markers - those are really cute.

1. Saturday up early to take Senior Daughter, Senior D'ter's BoyF, & 1st grader to meet folks who were driving them to the Dallas World Aquarium - IN THE RAIN!
2. Picked up the above 3 from the church parking lot when they got back - IN THE POURING RAIN!
3. Worked on my church's website - all day!
4. Made a wonderful oven backed pork chop dinner
Sunday -
1. Church
2. Out to eat lunch with my family.
3. Store to get rest of baby shower stuff
4. Went to baby shower
5. Home from baby shower & visited with Photographer Daughter & youngest grandson
6. Took Senior Daughter for food when she got home from 8 hours of work
7. Ate 1 1/2 Cheesy Crunchy Gorditas (UGH!)
8. Did genealogy stuff on computer

I'm wiped out!

Those tags are too cool! What a clever gal you are!

Those tags are too cool! What a clever gal you are!

I love the tags - where did you get the cards? They are gorgeous.
Let's see:
Saturday hubby went to work on the set for the play so it was like a normal work day in which I get nothing done and simply try to keep the kids from killing each other (hey, I was successful!). I made pizza for dinner, which is unusual because I only make dinner a few times a year. This actually makes the third time this month, which is REALLY unusual since I'm gone to rehearsal 5 nights a week. (Wow, what a bunny trail THAT was.)
Several loads of laundry. Emptied, refilled, emptied, refilled, emptied dishwasher. Washed dishes that couldn't go in dishwasher. Made two ridiculous-looking wristbands for part of my costume. Covered kneepads with pink fleece for aforementioned costume. (Don't worry, pictures will be posted.) Spent a glorious few hours OUTSIDE on Sunday checking on my flowers in various stages of sprouting, budding, and blooming. And some (ahem) recreational activity with hubby since both kids were asleep by 10:30.

Love the Loteria markers. Definitely sell them on etsy.com

You could also do keychains...

Those wine glass charms are awesome. Etsy, anyone? I'd buy one as a keychain.

Love the wine charms. Definitely put 'em on Etsy! And what the eff is a sheath cake?

Sometimes a list is so satisfying.

Not nearly as much as you!

Definitely sell them in sets. Those are COOL.

I am addicted to Scrabulous. It's the only reason I'm on Facebook. Next time I log in I'm starting a game with you.

What did I do this weekend? Hmmm...let's see. Lots of deep breaths and mumbling of my mantra, "This is just a phase, he won't be like this forever", coupled with copious amounts of chocolate eating/sobbing/bouts of mommy guilt because my son is a maniac.

Um....

(I second the Etsy comments - also your fridge magnets with WWMRD pictures. Everyone comments on mine, you know.)

Mine wasn't too different although we did "How it's made" episodes, instead.

Um, not as much as you did!

1. Got stood up for breakfast.
2. Watched a couple of episodes of season 3 Battlestar Galactica
3. Worked
4. Ate barbecue
5. Played hookey from church, ate bfast with a friend from out of town
6. Worked
7. Got a visit from SIL and nephew #2
8. Lost a game of scrabulous
9. Worked
10. Watched a couple more episodes of BSG

Need more time!

Oh! And I love the wine glass charms!

We played Boggle (and the children played with us! a first!).

The boys cleaned their desks.

My husband and I played a duet (he viola, I piano) -- it did not sound very good.

And we watched a lot of Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs. Mike Rowe is hawt.

I LURVE those wine glass thingies! Very, very cool!

This weekend I

1. Watched eldest daughter ice skate
2. Watched younger daughter puke
3. Picked up 125 boxes of Girl Scout cookies
4. Made chili
5. Worked at the bookstore
6. Walked floor with teething monster baby
7. Watched Lord of the Rings for the 1436th time
8. Folded laundry
9. Ate Nutella from a jar with a spoon
10. Bought about 10 jars of Burt's Bees lip gloss on clearance for $1.00 a jar

I know. Oh to be me, lol.

It's Tuesday, and the weekend has evaporated in a foggy haze. On Saturday night we were guests of our Belgian neighbors and enjoyed one of those long multicourse, sit-at-the-table for hours dinners where politics and other topics are discussed while the wine flows. I LOVED that.

And your wine charms are FABULOUS. You know what I'd do with them? Hang them from some of the cabinet knobs in the kitchen.

I'd love to be at your elbow when you're making these sorts of projects. I've never done anything like that and just have the itch to give it a try.

Another cool use for your charms--hang them off the points of a patio/deck umbrella when you're entertaining...

1. worked a bit
2. partied WAY too much
3. got hella sick (snotty cold)
4. slept 16 hours

Not a whole lot worth mentioning... but THIS WEEKEND, I get to play "Good Mommy" at the elementary school's Winter Fun Fair thingy.

Shoot.Me.Now.
